Koi Wijzer 37, Over de 'Koiwalk'
Spiegeltje, spiegeltje aan de wand, wie is de mooiste Koi
van het land? Of van Europa? Van de wereld? Of van het universum?! Het is een
vraag die Koi Kichi wereldwijd weet bezig te houden. Bij de vele koishows die
jaarlijks worden gehouden, is men steevast op zoek naar de beste, de mooiste,
de grootste, de sierlijkste…
Net als in deze special. Op de ‘koiwalk’, het koilievende
equivalent van de catwalk, stellen we jou de mooiste Koi ter wereld voor. De
All Japan Show 2009 (zeg maar: de wereldkampioenschappen Koi) vormt hierbij de
hoofdmoot. De redactie was ter plaatse en schoot de allermooiste plaatjes. Ook maken we je alvast warm voor
De 7e Nationale Koi- en Vijverdagen. Tiebo toont je hoe je Koi zou moeten
hanteren en we sluiten deze special af met de eerste Koi Wijzer Cover Model

which are to be held May 15th, 16th & 17th at Safari Zoo Beekse
Bergen in Hilvarenbeek, The Netherlands. During this colourful eventyou

through the streets of the ‘Japan Boulevard’, and looking at all the
latest merchandise available at one of the many stands, you will be eye

Shiba Zakura is the name. The name of a beautiful flower, the name of a dream Koi. This impressive, 84,5 cm big Yamatoya Kohaku, owned by Interkoi Arendonk, took the Supreme Champion title of the Dutch Koi & Pond Days 2008. Here you can see a movie of the runner-up.
Yin and Yang, the two opposite elements of the universe, are to be recognised in the head pattern of the Baby Champion Showa of the Belgian company Elna-Koi. Here you can see a movie of this tiny, great beauty.
